Call for cooperation
New developments in All Cloud, intelligent data processing and software-defined solutions pose an unprecedented challenge to information security within the ICT infrastructure. The lack of consensus and technical standards, verification systems and legislative support further complicate the issue. Information security is believed to be the responsibility of all industry participants and society as a whole, so this problem needs to be solved by joint efforts.
To this end, Huawei is opening an Information Security and Transparency Center in Brussels. It is intended to become a platform for communication and interaction between government agencies, technical experts, and industry associations, where they can come to a consensus on security issues in the digital age.

Second, the Center will facilitate interaction between the company and key stakeholders, making it easier to develop information security strategies and comprehensive security methodologies. Huawei intends to work with industry partners to help develop security standards and verification mechanisms to facilitate the implementation of new technologies.

Standards & Verification: An Effective Model for Building Trust
\\\\\\\\\
«We understand people’s concerns about information security in the digital world. I believe the solution to this problem begins with mutual understanding, and that’s why we’re opening our center. We invite regulators, standards organizations and customers to use this platform to collaborate more closely on standards, verification mechanisms and the development of new security technologies. By working together, we can improve the effectiveness of security systems throughout the value chain and help build trust,» says Ken Hu.
