During MWC – 2019, Huawei presented the entry-level all-flash OceanStor Dorado3000 V3 storage system (SAN). In addition, the mid- to high-end all-flash OceanStor Dorado storage system with Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) support was presented.
All of these solutions offer exceptional performance, comprehensive enterprise functionality and enhanced efficiency. Storage systems meet the requirements of databases, virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI), virtual server infrastructures (VSI) and other use cases. This helps improve data centers, bringing them closer to the all-flash era.

Technologies
The OceanStor Dorado3000 V3 solution, unveiled at MWC – 2019, uses industry-leading FlashLink® technology to ensure stable operation even during peak hours.
The intelligent multiprotocol interface chip supports market-leading client (front-end) protocols of 32 Gbit/s FC and 100GE. At this time, the intelligent Huawei Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) uniformly manages the CPU, memory and other components. This reduces the troubleshooting time from two hours to ten minutes.
Reliability
The OceanStor Dorado3000 V3 comprehensive enterprise solution leverages Huawei’s international and proprietary wear-leveling technologies to ensure stable and reliable SSD operation. The innovative RAID-TP technology copes with the simultaneous failure of three SSDs. The gate-less active-active solution provides nearly 100 percent reliability (99.9999%).
In addition, Converged Data Management (CDM) provides gateway-free cloud-based disaster recovery and redundancy, as well as minute-level service restoration in the cloud. Increased service availability is ensured through the use of multiple technologies that guarantee stability of operation.
The OceanStor Dorado3000 V3 solution also leverages industry-leading inline deduplication and compression technologies to reduce power, cooling, management and operating costs. This reduces overall operating costs by 65%. And it delivers significant savings for large-scale deployments.

In addition, the OceanStor Dorado3000 V3 solution is compatible with more than three hundred popular storage devices, as well as 98% of IT infrastructures in the industry.
