Introductions
Huawei has decided to update all of its mobile device lines in order to equip each device with a FullView display. Therefore, we see on the shelves and Honor 2i, Honor 7X, Honor View 10, and Huawei Nova 2i. To this decent number of devices was added another inexpensive smartphone called Honor 9 Lite. Essentially, you are looking at the Huawei P10 Lite, only with a different processor and two additional cameras.
The main feature of Huawei’s latest gadgets is a screen with minimal frames at the top and bottom. The company calls it FullView. For example, LG has FullVision displays, and Samsung has «Borderless Display». In general, everyone comes up with their own marketing names.
At the time of writing, the gadget was not officially released in Russia, so I did not know some of the parameters. The price remained unknown as well. However, it can be assumed that the 9 Lite will cost a potential buyer between 18,000 and 20,000 rubles, given that its closest counterpart costs around 15,000 rubles.
The verdict on the honor 8 lite smartphone
The youngest model in the Honor 8 line shows excellent performance results and attracts the attention of others with its appearance. From afar, the device does not seem budget-friendly, but when you take the smartphone in your hands, you encounter the plastic coating of the screen and the back wall. If you are not the first to constantly wipe the screen, or if you treat your gadgets with the utmost care, then you will definitely like the good cameras and strong iron.
Appearance and ergonomics
Matte textured plastic adorns the back of the Huawei P9 Light, which looks quite stylish. There is a side metal frame. At the same time, all the corners of the body are rounded and the edges are beveled. The smartphone is thin and attractive, but somewhat spoils the appearance of the semi-transparent insert on the back, which is why it is glossy.
The fingerprint scanner is located on the back, it is implemented in the form of a square. The memory card slot is already habitually combined with the second SIM, and the volume buttons are made of plastic. The device does not tire the hand at all, it is really pleasant to use. Moreover, thanks to the excellent ergonomics and compact size, the gadget will fit in any palm. Dimensions P9 Lite: height — 146.8 mm, thickness — 7.5 mm, width — 72.6 mm, weight — 147 g. The color — silver, gold, black and white.
Iron and Performance
Since the P9 Light is still a mid-level device, the processor is appropriate. We are talking about the Kirin 650 chip, which is made according to the latest 16-nm process technology. The processor with eight cores can overclock to a frequency of 2000 MHz, and to accelerate the graphics is designed video chip Mali-T830 MP2.
Thanks to the modern hardware, the smartphone does not feel any slowdowns. At the same time, Huawei P9 Lite scores about 53000 points in the AnTuTu test. In games, certain problems can be observed only in very demanding projects. If you slightly reduce the level of graphics, then even the coolest toys will go perfectly smoothly.
Multimedia:
The Honor 9 Lite uses one speaker for music output. Its volume is high, the sound is flat, without bass and with a minimal amount of middle frequencies. The quality is good.
Sound quality in headphones was tested with Bose QC35 and Meizu Flow. The first showed a pleasant bass, moderate midrange and not the cleanest high frequencies. In general, very good, but the midrange and treble would be more interesting. Again, theoretically they can be tightened with the equalizer.
«Ears» from Meizu: the volume is higher than that of Bose, the bass is relatively resilient, but at the level of 60 Hz — 80 Hz. In the midrange and tweeter, not so much either.
In summary, the sound: the bass is fine, the mids and treble are lacking. Naturally, this is my personal opinion.

Advantages and disadvantages of the phone p9 lite
The dimensions of Huawei P9 Lite are 72.6 mm wide, 146.8 mm long and 7.5 mm thick. At this size, it is convenient to operate the device with one hand. In addition, the device weighs about 147 grams. Even if you operate the device with one hand, its weight is almost not felt.
If you assess the overall ease of use of the phone, taking into account the size and weight, then the problems in everyday use will not occur.
The smartphone is equipped with an 8-core processor Huawei HiSilicon KIRIN 650, which is made on 16 nm process technology.

The P9 Lite has a display diagonal of 5.2 inches. The display is large enough that you will rarely have difficulties with its size. However, such a display is not suitable for writing long texts.
The smartphone has a high-end display and any graphical content you display on it, including videos and games, will be displayed clearly.
The phone’s main camera has 12.98 megapixels and can shoot high-resolution photos and videos. While you’re shooting landscapes or printing high-definition photos, you might want a higher-resolution camera, but most of the time you’ll be happy with the camera.
Also, the smartphone has a 7.99 megapixel front-facing camera, which is average for smartphone cameras. It’s enough to take selfies, but you might not be satisfied with group photos or their print quality.
The battery capacity of Huawei P9 Lite is 3000 mA*h, which is a relatively large figure. In comparison with other smartphones, Huawei P9 Lite battery life is good. With this capacity, you will not feel any problems even if you spend time on the Internet or Twitter for a long period of time.

The smartphone successfully preserved the remarkable design of the flagship, as well as got though not powerful, but modern hardware, which makes the device work fast enough.
