Honor introduced tablet 6 and x6 – cheap tablets on Android 10
The Huawei brand Honor announced in China inexpensive tablet models Tablet 6 and X6, which are offered in two versions – with and without a 4G/LTE modem. Both devices are equipped with Kirin 710A chipsets, LCD panels, 5100 mAh batteries and run on the Android 10 operating system with the proprietary Magic UI 3.1 interface.
The main difference between these two tablets is the displays. Honor Tablet 6 has a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while the Honor X6 has a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 1200 x 800 pixels. There is also a difference in storage – in the maximum configuration, Honor Tablet 6 is offered with 128 GB of internal memory, and Honor X6 with 64 GB of storage.
Both new products are equipped with Huawei Histen6.1 stereo speakers and have two cameras – one at the front with 2 MP and one at the back with 5 MP. Charging is done via the USB-C port. Apparently, the company launched the tablets for educational purposes as they come pre-installed with relevant apps for children. In addition, they support work with the Honor Magic-Pencil stylus.
Honor Tablet 6 will go on sale on July 28th. As for the cost, the manufacturer offers customers the following options:

- 4/64 GB (LTE) – $230,
- 4/128 GB (LTE) – $270.
Honor X6 will be available in China in early August. The prices for the new product are as follows:

Appearance and ergonomics
Honor Tab 5 received a metal body. The back cover has beveled sides, which improves ergonomics. It is made of durable aluminum, but the antenna inserts are plastic. In the upper left corner there is a peephole of the main camera. Closer to the upper and lower ends are the grilles of two multimedia speakers. The company logo is placed almost in the center of the lid. There is a micro USB port on the bottom edge. The headphone jack is now located on the top.
The front side is covered with thick 2.5D glass, which is resistant to scratches. The frames around the display are quite substantial, which allows you to comfortably hold the device in your hands, eliminating accidental clicks. Display

Hardware and performance
The Tab 5 tablet is equipped with an eight-core Kirin 710 processor, which is made using a 12nm process technology. This chip includes four standard Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1700 MHz, as well as four high-performance Cortex-A73 cores (2200 MHz). There is a Mali-G51 MP4 graphics accelerator. The basic modification received 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The advanced version is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. There is full support for microSD cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB. Inside there is a battery with a capacity of 5100 mAh. This battery has a fast charging function using a 10 W power adapter. In balanced mode, the device can operate for up to 1.5 days.
The Android 9.0 operating system is installed here along with the proprietary Magic 2 shell. In the AnTuTu test, the tablet computer scores about 140,000 points. In many scenarios, the device demonstrates excellent performance. In particularly difficult situations (for example, when running “heavy” games), GPU Turbo 2.0 technology comes to the rescue.
Camera
Honor Tab 5 has a main 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. This photo module takes excellent pictures during the daytime. In the evening, artifacts appear in the pictures, and blur is also noticeable. The front of the gadget is equipped with an 8 megapixel front camera, but with a fixed focus. She is able to take good quality photos only in good external lighting.
Cons:
