Honor 10 Lite is a phone of a higher class than the two previous models. There is already a screen with FullHD resolution and a powerful Kirin 710 processor, which can handle any games well. The gadget looks very stylish, it is thin and light, although you will have to hide this beauty in a case. The body is made of glossy plastic, which gets scratched very quickly.
Among the advantages of the model are a high-quality display, good battery life and performance, as well as the presence of a fingerprint scanner and NFC, although in this price segment this is already a mandatory parameter. In general, the characteristics of the Honor 10 Lite are very balanced; only the mediocre camera can disappoint – despite the presence of a second module, it is not much better than that of the 8A. Well, and the MicroUSB port — for 12 thousand rubles I would like to see Type-C, which competitors put even in more affordable devices.

To the question of which Honor phone is the best, there can only be one answer — Honor 20 Pro. It costs significantly more than the base Honor 20, and there is something to pay extra for. This is a real camera phone with a universal camera, in which modules were by no means packed for quantity. The firmware has a wide and telephoto camera with three times optical zoom, as well as dual optical stabilization on the main and zoom cameras, while the regular twenty has no OIS at all.
In addition to the camera, Honor 20 Pro differs from the younger model in a more premium design — its back cover is convex, which is why the phone feels more tactile. There is also a more powerful battery and more memory, which is important given the lack of a MicroSD slot. The list of shortcomings is still the same; the 20 Pro does not have the traditional attributes of premium smartphones, and wired headphones will have to be connected via an adapter, which is not included in the package of the flagship.

Honor 20 is the golden mean among the brand’s top models, which fully deserves the title of “people’s flagship.” This is a beautiful smartphone in a glass and metal body, with a powerful processor, excellent battery life (7-8 hours of screen on a single charge) and a good camera. The latter, of course, is greatly simplified compared to the Pro version — 2 MP sensors are installed purely for appearance, but photographs taken on the main and wide-angle modules are of high quality.
Users praise the Honor 20 for its convenient and fast fingerprint scanner, which is built into the power key, fast face unlock and excellent system performance as a whole. The device has no serious disadvantages, rather compromises: the lack of a slot for a flash drive, a 3.5 mm jack, stereo speakers, wireless charging and moisture protection, which is usually obtained by more expensive flagships.

Honor 10i and the previously reviewed 10 Lite are similar in many ways, they have the same displays and batteries, as well as an almost identical design. They offer us to pay an additional 4 thousand rubles for a larger amount of permanent memory — 128 versus 32 GB, and an improved camera. In 10i, they upgraded the front camera, increasing its resolution to 32 megapixels, and adding a wide-angle module to the main camera. However, in terms of the quality of photographs, the device lacks stars from the sky; many phones for comparable money take better photos.
16 thousand at retail is already a fairly high price, and therefore the shortcomings that can be tolerated in the Honor 10 Lite come to the fore here. The smartphone really has a lot of disadvantages — it has a plastic case, a MicroUSB port, and a hybrid card tray, which forces you to choose between a second SIM card and a memory card.
There is also no 5 GHz Wi-Fi, notification indicator or stabilization when shooting video, and the maximum recording format is limited to FHD. Separately, it is worth noting the strange decision to place the microphone next to the card slot, when removing it you can accidentally insert a paperclip into the wrong hole. In general, this is a controversial device that has more interesting alternatives.

8S is Honor’s cheapest current model from the brand. It can become a normal workhorse for undemanding users who need the phone for communications, music, watching videos and the Internet. By modern standards, this is an extremely compact device with a 5.7-inch screen and relatively small frames, the practicality of which is added by a rough plastic case. The device does not try to slip out of the palm with every movement and is perfectly controlled with one hand.
Honor 8S has a very good screen for its price, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a separate slot for a flash drive. Compromise points include average battery life; comparable-price Xiaomi batteries will have more powerful batteries. Well, you will have to put up with a frankly weak camera and the general slowness of the smartphone, which is the norm for all devices in this price segment.

View 20 was released at the very beginning of the year and became one of the first smartphones with a front camera integrated into the screen, which the regular Honor 20 later received. It runs on the same processor as more recent flagships, but differs from them in less functional main camera.
The smartphone takes good photographs, but in fact there is a single camera — there is neither a wide lens nor a telephoto lens. The second module is represented by a 3D ToF sensor, which is used to implement portrait mode and is not directly used during shooting. So what is interesting about Honor View 20 compared to the usual twenties?

— At first, the lack of Google services may seem like a big problem, BUT almost all applications that you are used to downloading from PlayMarket can either be downloaded from other similar markets or replaced with analogues.
— Some may think that given the shortcomings that I have indicated, the smartphone does not deserve 5*. I don’t think so, the shortcomings are not critical, the processor is enough for you, protection from moisture is a nitpick, most can do without it anyway, the 3.5mm jack is becoming a thing of the past, everyone is gradually switching to Bluetooth headsets. I don’t use online payment, but I follow the reviews and there is a problem with payment with only a few banks, and that’s most likely temporary. WhatsApp, Viber, Telega, Insta, VK are placed with one toe of the left foot. Youtube Vanced is installed and, as practice shows, it is even better than usual and yes, you can log in and use subscriptions. You can install Google Chrome, but only without authorization. So far, the biggest problem is games, a lot of games install easily, but not all (an error may pop up, but by clicking on an empty space the game will start quietly), there are actually games that refuse to install at all and they have not been added to the AppGallery yet, so here just wait, and of course you will lose walkthroughs that are linked to Google, if you are a fierce gamer, then for now I do not advise switching to smart without Google. Day by day I get more and more used to smart devices and realize more and more that you can live without Google.
Middle class
Considering mid-budget models of Honor phones, one cannot help but mention that it is in this segment that the company is currently experiencing the biggest problems due to US sanctions. The best new products based on the Kirin 810 have not yet received Google certification, and smartphones that we have already seen under other names are brought to Russia under their guise.
