With its help, we can easily check the authenticity of Huawei phones before purchasing. To do this, you need to find out the name of the device you have chosen and enter it into the service analysis line.

After some time, the phone manufacturer will be displayed in the Type Allocation Folder column, and its model will be displayed in the Mobile Equipment Type column. You can see whether the phone belongs to the market in the Primary Market column, where, for example, Asia or Europe should be displayed.

Using imei or serial number

You can find out the origin of HUAWEI equipment by IMEI or serial number on the official website. There is a dedicated warranty check page for this purpose. In addition to the standard function, the page displays the country of purchase of the device, which will correspond to its firmware.

You can find out the device serial number or IMEI in three ways:

1. Before flashing a Huawei phone, create a new folder in the phone memory or on the SD card and rename it dload.
2. Download the Huawei Stock firmware and copy the update.zip file to the dload folder.
3. Enter the device into Twrp Recovery.
4. Turn off the device.
5. Press Volume Up and Power button at the same time to enter TWRP custom recovery.
6. Go to installation, find the update.zip file and flash it.
7. Once the update process is completed, click Wipe cache/dalvik to clear the original ROM and reboot your Huawei device.
