What ordinary users and third-party Internet resources advise
So, we have learned the recommendations that manufacturers and developers suggest using. But there are also tips that are offered by ordinary people. And they are usually prepared based on actual tests. And getting real results. Therefore, it is also worth talking about them, since it is precisely such recommendations that are often very effective.
For example, one of the users talked about how he was able to solve a similar problem with the lack of notifications on his Huawei P20 Pro:
Another recommendation from owners of similar phones is to completely remove software that has stopped functioning normally. And then — return it using a new installation. As practice shows, this operation is often enough for the program to start sending notifications normally again.
Also, many owners of modern mobile phones use a product such as Clean Master on their devices. And one of the users noticed that after installing this tool a problem began to arise. He went into the program settings. Selected “clear notifications”. Set it to «Off». And everything became normal.
It turns out that this program, in its original mode, simply deleted notifications. And they simply did not reach smartphone owners!
Another way was found on the Internet. Or rather, it is an addition to the official instructions from Huawei technical support.
And it consists of the following:
- Check the necessary settings and carry out all the necessary actions according to the official instructions-recommendations, depending on the version of the Android operating system and the proprietary shell.
- Additionally, go to the list of applications. And limit the rights to those options that are used very rarely. Or even get rid of them by deleting them.
- Launch all critical programs one by one. At the top of the window you will find a padlock icon. Click on it. This will ensure that the applications you need will always remain in the phone’s RAM. And it won’t close accidentally. For example, if the user decides to clear memory.
Android 5 emui 3.1 lite
First of all, you need to check:
- Go through “Settings” to “Notification Center”, select the required applications, check if all the necessary items are selected. Pay special attention to the one that concerns the so-called lock screen.

- Go to the “protected background applications” section to activate all the necessary programs in it.

- Visit the “Network Applications” menu – in the same place, in the settings. Activate “data transfer” and “Wi-Fi” for each software.
- Go to the settings of each of the problematic applications. Check notification transmission activity individually.
After this, three more mandatory steps must be completed:
In side slot with pull-out tray
There is no need to remove the back cover to insert a SIM card into a Huawei smartphone. This is due to the fact that all devices are equipped with side slots with pull-out trays. Slots in different models can be located on different sides of the case — on the left, on the right or on the top end. And they are easy to find — the edge of the slot tray looks like a narrow rectangle with a round recess on the right or left.
How to insert a SIM card into Huawei with a side slot:
- We pick up the complete key for the slot. If you have lost it, any thin object, like an unbent match, will do. You can also use a toothpick (be careful, the tip may break off inside the side).
- Insert a key or an object that replaces it into the recess on the side of the tray.
- Apply light pressure and immediately release, after which the side will extend beyond the body.
- Grabbing the side, pull out the tray with the slot completely.
- Place the SIM card in the slot and slide the tray inside the case.
The card is pulled out from the smartphone in the same way.
This is the most modern option; it is now used in almost all smartphones released after 2021, from all manufacturers. Huawei has this:
- Series G, starting with G7.
- P series starting with P7.
- Y series starting from Y7 2021.
- Mate series starting with Mate S.
- Nova, D, Nexus and Enjoy series — all models.
Possible causes of the problem
The most common cases:
- The SIM card is not in contact with the phone contacts.
This can be caused by inaccurate cutting of the SIM card to micro sim, nano-sim by staff or by shrinking the card yourself, after which its dimensions differ from the standard slot size. Or due to deformation of the slot itself after any physical impact on it.

- Poor mobile loading speed
. If your gadget has a large number of applications that launch automatically every time you turn on the device, this leads to a slowdown of all processes, including SIM card identification. The subscriber should wait for it to be detected. Better yet, get rid of unused programs that waste memory resources on the device.

- Contacts dirty
. Dust and foreign particles accumulate on the inside of your phone over time. Without proper care, the connector can become dirty to such an extent that the SIM card can no longer be read by the device. The same picture is observed during contact oxidation.

- Physical defects on the card
. Mechanical damage — chips, scratches, defects during production — require only one thing — replacing the SIM card. Operators often accommodate this situation halfway by providing a new card for free. Phone number, funds on your balance, set of tariff options — all this remains the same.

- Contact deformation
. It occurs when there are frequent cycles of removing and inserting a SIM card into the phone jack, which leads to abrasions on the contacts. The situation can only be corrected at a service center.

Why doesn’t my phone see the SIM card? 8 ways to solve the problem for all operators | 2020
The phone may not see the SIM card after the update. In order to fix this, you need to do the following:
- Reflash the device via a computer;
- Install a patch for communication via TWRP Recovery;
- Perform a factory reset.
Do not forget that your smartphone takes time to load drivers and SIM card indicators.
If the new phone does not see the SIM card, then most likely this is due to a manufacturing defect (check all SIM cards that you have).
But don’t despair, there are ways to solve this problem:
- Without loss of warranty period (reset settings to factory settings, take them to a service center or issue a return (exchange) of the product to the store);
- With loss of warranty (reflash or replace the card tray at your nearest workshop).
If your gadget freezes completely or partially, some applications do not work correctly, or a constant error is displayed, you need to do a hard reboot of the smartphone and then restore it to factory settings.
Recovery role
To enter it you need to use a certain key combination. Often, this program can be launched by pressing and holding the volume down and power keys simultaneously.
After the menu appears, you need to find “Wipe data/factory reset”
select in it “Yes – delete all users data”
and click the confirmation button. After rebooting, your smartphone should work. But it should be remembered that this method should be used in extreme cases (if all else fails and this is the last chance to restore or before selling).

Restore to factory settings
With prolonged and active use of the phone, a malfunction (so-called glitch) may occur in the software. Productivity may drop due to a backlog of errors.
The easiest way to solve this situation is to restore Android to factory settings. This can be done through “Restore and reset”
located in the settings menu, select the item “Reset”
and click “Erase everything”
. After these steps, the system will return to its original settings.
Be sure to make a backup copy of all data before resetting so as not to lose it.
To be able to recover after a factory reset, you need to synchronize with your Google account.
Go to menu “Restore and reset”
activate “Data copying”
and “Auto-recovery”
, just check the box next to it. After this, all your data and information from all applications will be duplicated to your Google account. Thus, to restore all data, you will need to enter your account login and password.
To avoid failures during downloading, use a stable high-speed Internet connection (for example, Wi-Fi). In this case, the system settings will remain factory settings.
An account on Android often coincides with your Google mail, so to log into it again you just need to go to “Account and synchronization settings”
find the item “Add an existing account or create a new one?”
and enter your username and password for your Google account.

Google Account Login
If you have forgotten the password for your account, then the password recovery page will help you. Follow the instructions there.
Well, if you forgot your username, use the username recovery page. In this case, you need to remember the backup email address or phone number to which the page is linked.
We also looked at the problem specifically for some popular brands (Meizu, Xiaomi, Samsung).
Why can’t my meizu phone see the SIM card?
3G Internet in China is different from our WCDMA/HSPA. For this reason, it is not surprising that in China there are no problems with the World Wide Web at all.
The program netmonitor was downloaded not long ago
— according to her logs — 3G Internet may freeze at the moment when your mobile phone changes the base station. It can be either free or close. While in one place, your smartphone can register in both one and another station. As a rule, there are 8 cells connected, everything is in motion.
Consequently, one of the reasons why the Meizu phone cannot see SIM cards is that the communication module is broken or damaged.
In most cases, this is due to a malfunction of the hardware (SIM card, slot):
- The phone fell or got wet; Poor contact of the SIM card;
- Chip damaged;
- Problems with the SIM card and card reader (these problems can arise if the SIM card does not fit tightly enough);
- Moisture gets into the phone;
- It happens that you buy a gadget at a promotion or cheaper than the nominal value and the seller did not tell you that the phone is firmware for a specific cellular network operator (in this case, SIM cards from other communication providers will not be detected by your device, and you will not be able to fully use a smartphone).
As for the software of this smartphone model, it is slightly different from those that we described. Often it is enough to disable unnecessary frequencies in the engineering menu. To do this, dial the following combination on the call screen: *#*#3646633#*#*
Go to “BandMode”/”SIM1”
. Next, uncheck the following:
- GSM Mode with:
— “PCS-1900”,
— “GSM-850”; - UMTS Mode with:
— “WCDMA-DSC-1800”,
— “WCDMA-CLR-850”;
Design and decoration
The 10-inch tablet comes in one color option — white. The design is elegant and not flashy. The 10.1-inch display is surrounded by a black frame without touch buttons and framed by a white body. Above the display is a front 1.3 MP camera. The tablet is well protected from mechanical damage, due to the fact that almost the entire back of the tablet is covered by an aluminum case with a white plastic insert in the rear camera area.

Front view
The dimensions of the tablet are 257.4×175.9 mm. At the same time, it is ultra thin (only 8.8 mm) and, which is important for operation, the lightest among its competitors (580 g). The assembly of the Huawei mediapad 10 fhd 3g tablet is of high quality, there are no backlashes or creaks when used, and the back aluminum cover is not deformed.

Locked device
Very often, in pursuit of cheap prices, we order mobile devices from abroad, from dubious online stores, or simply buy them third-hand. Or maybe we just don’t read the contract when buying a branded phone at a very low price.
A locked phone is tied to a specific operator and only works with its SIM cards, therefore, it simply won’t be possible to install another one. There are two ways to solve this problem: either find out who your phone is linked to and install a SIM card from that operator, or find a specialist who will perform the unlocking procedure for your device.

Reaction of a locked iPhone to someone else’s SIM card
It is worth considering that the tied provider does not always officially provide services in your country, for example, if you ordered a phone in America and it is tied to the AT&T operator (a favorite problem of lovers of cheap iPhones from EBay), you will need to either move to another hemisphere, or unlock again.
Use esim
A recent technology, eSIM, is a virtual SIM card that operates using a small chip embedded inside the smartphone. In many countries, users can choose mobile operators and communication tariffs directly in the settings of their device, without visiting communication stores. This eliminates problems associated with physical damage to the card.
eSIM appeared in Xiaomi smartphones with the MIUI 10 update. The developers added a special application that uses “dollar traffic”, which is based on virtual eSIM technology. When the application is running, the smartphone is assigned a virtual number.
At the beginning of 2020, Xiaomi devices support eSIM only in China. Among other things, this function does not work if the phone has two SIM cards.
If we talk about Russia, at the moment only Tele2 has offered its subscribers to use such a service. To do this, clients should contact one of the five Moscow communication stores with a request to switch to an electronic SIM card while maintaining their number.
Once the application is approved, their plastic card will stop working. If a user wants to switch to a virtual SIM card, but he is not a Tele2 client, then he must first purchase a regular card.
The remaining major operators — MTS, Megafon and Beeline — did not approve the introduction of eSIM. In their opinion, this technology will lead to increased competition (including with smartphone manufacturers) and a reduction in the revenue of the operators themselves.
How to restore incorrect imei after flashing android
To restore IMEI yourself, you need to be sure that the actions performed are correct. If any of the instructions did not help, contact the service center.
Before correcting an incorrect IMEI, you need to make sure that the settings are incorrect — compare the combinations on the device and documents. If the problem appeared after the firmware, you need to perform manual configuration:
- Remove the SIM card (if there are two, both).
- Find the code on the Internet to enter “engineering mode” for your phone model. For example, for Lenovo A319 the code looks like “*#*#3646633#*#*”.
- Wait for a while, do not perform any commands on the phone.
- A menu will open in which you need to select the “connections” item.
- Select «CDS details».
- A menu will open in English, where you need to select the “radio information” item.
- Select Phone1 if there is only one SIM card in the phone.
- A window will open in which you must enter the letter E.
- You must enter the correct IMEI code between the quotes.
- Select «send at command», then an error message may appear.
- In case of error, add a space after on the same line where the IMEI was entered.
- Reboot your phone.
The example smartphone has two SIM cards. After setting the settings on Phone1 (6th point), you need to repeat the operations for Phone2 and only then reboot the phone. The considered method is similar for all Android devices.
How to fix the problem?
You can often avoid contacting the operator or repair service, because the subscriber himself can solve the problem. To make sure that a particular case is exactly like this, you should:
- Restart phone
, waiting for all applications to finish downloading. You may have to do this several times. It is also recommended to turn off the phone, remove the SIM card and install it back. After installing the SIM back, reboot your phone.

- Wipe contacts
in the phone connector, as well as on the SIM card. A lint-free fabric or a rubberized cloth is suitable for these purposes. The procedure should be performed carefully to avoid causing further damage.

- Use a small piece of paper
to insert it along with the SIM card. This will make the card fit more tightly to the phone’s contacts, which will help it be detected.

Which tariff to choose
When using a SIM card in a tablet, you can use any tariff with a traffic package, including unlimited for smartphones, or choose special tariffs for tablets. The only exception is for Iota subscribers — you cannot use tariffs for smartphones or computers.
Let’s consider the best tariff options from all federal operators that allow you to use unlimited Internet access at a minimum monthly cost. All prices are indicated when connecting in the Penza region.
On MTS you can use any tariff for smartphones, and in terms of price, the most favorable option will be “Tariffishche”. When choosing a minimum package of minutes, the cost per month will be 400 rubles. However, it is worth considering that with this tariff plan, unlimited traffic is provided only in the connection region, and only 30 GB can be used outside of it. That is why this tariff may not be suitable for those who regularly use a tablet when traveling around the country.
Therefore, for those who want to use unlimited access while traveling on a SIM card in a tablet, the “For Laptop” tariff is recommended. For 690 rubles per month, unlimited speeds of up to ten megabits will be available, and without a speed limit — 1040 rubles per month.
Among MegaFon’s tariffs, the best option is “Maximum” from the main “No overpayments” line. The tariff plan allows you to use unlimited Internet without any restrictions for 550 rubles. The fee is charged every 30 days.
Beeline’s minimum tariff with unlimited access to the data network costs 600 rubles. The fee is charged daily at twenty rubles per day on the “Close People 3” tariff plan.
You can optimize your expenses with this tariff if you also use a Beeline SIM card on your smartphone. In this case, the tariff can be activated on it, and a SIM card for the tablet can be added to the general packages for 6.66 rubles per day. So you can use a package tariff on your smartphone for 800 rubles a month, and use unlimited Internet on your phone and tablet at the same time.
If you use a Tele2 SIM card in your tablet, then select “Unlimited”. The monthly cost of this tariff will be 550 rubles, and you will be able to use high-speed access without limits on the volume of traffic used.
Virtual operator Yota offers a special tariff for a SIM card in a tablet. It allows you to connect a traffic package of up to fifteen gigabytes, or choose unlimited. Unlimited Internet traffic on this tariff will cost five hundred rubles.
When to contact the operator
- If the Megafon SIM card does not work
, dial the support number 8 800 550 05 00
, or 7 926 111 05 00
(free from anywhere in the world). Tell us under what circumstances your SIM card stopped being read. The operator will tell you what to do. - If the MTS SIM card does not work
, call the single number 8 800 250 08 90
. For international roaming 7 495 766 0166
. Perhaps one call will be enough to get the SIM card working again. - If the Beeline SIM card does not work
, contact the 24-hour support center by phone 8 800 700 0611
, 0611
(mobile). Tell us in detail what is wrong with the SIM card. - If the Tele2 sim card does not work
, dial 8 495 97 67 611
and voice the problem. Or contact support on the operator’s website. - If the Iota SIM card does not work
, you can contact the chat on the website or in the mobile application.
Where to contact
The phone does not see the SIM card, we have already discussed what to do. Finally, let’s talk about where to turn. Here the recommendations depend on the original cause of the problem.
If the user finds out that the reason is a faulty SIM card, then contact the nearest operator’s office. Some people advise calling support, but in this situation it is useless. The company’s employees will either reissue the SIM card and give you a new chip with the old number. Or they will offer to issue a new SIM card if the previous one was irrevocably blocked due to non-use. But in the latter case, it is worth considering how necessary this is.
If a problem is detected in your smartphone, then you should not get into it yourself. A gadget whose warranty period has not yet expired can be taken to the store and it will be repaired for free. In other cases, contact your nearest service department. The cost of repairs is difficult to predict; this requires specialist diagnostics.
If your phone does not see the SIM card, you now know what to do. You can ask all questions in the comments. Share the article on social networks and stay with us, we have a lot of useful and interesting things.
SIM card does not work after flashing
A common cause of SIM card failure is flashing the device. Failures during installation or incompatibility of custom firmware with your device can cause a similar error. The best solution in this situation would be to return to a backup copy, which is usually done before manipulating the operating system.
If backup is not your style, then copy the necessary files to the media and return the device to factory settings or simply install the official firmware from the website of your phone manufacturer.

ROOT and Jailbreak allow you to gain full access to the file system, but are punishable by sanctions from manufacturers, including complete refusal to repair
If you have ROOT or Jailbreak, remember if you installed dubious modifications for your device or deleted unfamiliar files? Even such simple tweaks as replacing the dial tone or changing the voice can lead to dire consequences. It is very likely that you simply damaged the system drivers, which caused the mobile connection to fail.
Invalid imei
After checking the IMEI, you realized that it is erased or does not match. How to recover? Open the service menu using the code (for all operating systems):
| Universal code | *#3646633# | *#*#3646633#*#* |
| Samsung | *#*#8255*#*# | *#*#4636*#*# |
| HTC | *#*#3424*#*# | *#*#4636*#*# |
| Sony | *#*#7378423*#*# | |
| IPhone | *#*#4634*#*# | |
| Huawei | *#*#2846579*#*# | |
| Philips, Fly, Alcatel | *#*#3646633*#*# | |
| MTK processor | *#*#54298*#*# | *#*#3646633*#*# |
- dial the combination as a number and press the “call” key;
- go to “CDS Information – Radio Information – Phone1”;
- at the top under the AT item, enter in the field EGMR=1.7 “enter the correct IMEI” – for the first SIM card or EGMR=1.10 “enter the correct IMEI” – for the second;
- press the “SEND AT COMMAND” button and the new settings will take effect;
- reboot your smartphone.
You can fix it using the “Chamelephon” application if you have ROOT rights. You can always contact the service center to resolve the issue.
Incorrect settings
Why doesn’t the phone see the SIM card?
1. Check whether you have enabled Airplane Mode or Offline Mode. When airplane mode is turned on, mobile communication services will automatically turn off.
- click the setting icon;
- select advanced settings;
- turn off “airplane mode”.
Didn’t help? Pull out the SIM card, wait about half a minute and reinsert it. Reboot your phone/tablet.
2. Check whether the SIM card is enabled in the phone settings, relevant for devices with two or more SIM cards on Android:
- go to settings options;
- select “SIM Card Manager”;
- activate the desired SIM card by clicking on it or switch the slider next to it to “On” mode.
If it doesn’t help, try sending a message from an inactive SIM card and the system will automatically ask you to turn on the card.
3. The phone does not see the new SIM card — activation failed. What to do:
- install a SIM card, turn on the device;
- enter the PIN code (indicated on the plastic blister where the SIM card was secured upon purchase);
- make a call to the toll-free activation number.

4. No registration on the network. You will need to manually search for the nearest station through the settings:
- go to settings;
- click “Advanced settings”;
- click «Mobile networks».
The device will start searching for all available operators and display a list of possible connections. Select what you need and activate it.
If none of the methods work, do a full reset: “settings” – “backup and reset” – “data reset”. Pre-archive your data for automatic recovery.
Contact oxidation
The problem is quite serious. With it, the contact pads of the slot are subject to oxidation.
In this case, the visual severity of the phenomenon cannot be a diagnostic sign.
Sometimes visually strong oxidation (darkening) does not interfere with operation, while sometimes almost no external changes are noticeable, but the slot does not work.
Oxidation can occur for many reasons:
- Flooding or getting wet (even use in the bathroom or in the rain, in a humid environment);
- Excessive heating, overheating of the device;
- Problems with the device’s battery;
- Sometimes oxidation occurs on old phones over time, since their service life has long expired.
To determine the presence of oxidation, inspect the contacts if possible.
Usually, a slight darkening is noticeable on them, but such a “symptom” may be absent. You can try to eliminate oxidation yourself.
To do this, soak a non-woven material in alcohol, wrap it around the needle and carefully wipe the contacts.
Let them dry, insert the SIM card and try to start the phone. Sometimes this repair method is quite effective.
In some cases, oxidation turns into corrosion. You will not be able to fix the problem yourself, since it requires replacing the entire slot. This is an expensive procedure performed by professionals.
Problem with SIM card
You can determine the presence of such a problem in the following way — take a gadget with a normally functioning SIM card. Replace it with one that raises doubts about its performance. Start the device.
If another phone does not recognize the SIM card, then there is no doubt — the reason lies precisely in the card.
Possible causes of problems:
- SIM card has expired
. The SIM card service was suspended by the operator due to the fact that the subscriber did not use it for a long time — 180 days. The result was that the automatic blocking was activated. This card cannot be used; you must contact your mobile service provider to have it reissued.
- SIM card failed activation
. If the subscriber purchased it at sales sites, then in a hurry the promoters might have forgotten about activation. The user will only be able to find out about this when the phone starts up. Correcting the situation will not be difficult — each operator has a prescribed activation algorithm for the SIM card
.
- The card was damaged during the cutting process
. If the user tries to independently reduce the size of the SIM card to fit the micro connector of the phone, then he can touch and damage its contacts. It is not difficult to prevent this — just make a corresponding request to a specialized worker. Or select a SIM card with the appropriate dimensions in advance.
- Existing damage
. Any deformation caused by physical impact — a dent, scratch, chip, etc. — either leads to a limitation of the operation of the SIM card, or to a complete loss of its functions.

Check Airplane Mode
Portable devices that support a connection to a cellular or Wi-Fi network have a special “airplane mode”. This function turns off all possible types of received signal, making the tablet autonomous.
There are two main ways to check the status of airplane mode:
- in the command bar menu of the tablet computer;
- in the device communication settings.
The easiest one is to open the tablet’s quick commands panel. To do this, on any working window the user must swipe down from the top of the screen. This method of calling the panel works on Android devices. On Apple tablets, swiping occurs from the bottom of the screen to the top.
Next, you need to check the status of the “airplane mode” icon. Operating system manufacturers generally choose an airplane as the icon for this function.
You can also check whether “airplane mode” is enabled in the tablet settings. This function is most often found in the “Communications and Signals” section; sometimes developers place it in the general settings of a portable device.
When airplane mode is turned on, the SIM card will not work.
Installing a SIM card
Important! To install a SIM card in the tablet, it must be turned off. Some devices can operate in hot mode, that is, they will detect it without turning it off, but most often the tablet does not see the SIM card without rebooting.
After turning off, you need to find a place under the Sim. Options may vary. On modern Huawei tablets it is inserted into a special slot. To open it, you need to use the small paper clip included in the kit. The carriage is pulled out of the tablet and the card is placed on it.
The second option is an open slot. This connector is installed in Asus equipment.
Here the Sim is simply inserted into the housing. In order to correctly insert a SIM card into the tablet, you need to look at the icon next to the slot. It shows which side you need to place it in the device. When installed correctly, a click will be heard. To remove the card, you need to lightly press on it with your fingernail — it will pop out, as if pushed out by a spring.
The third option is that the slot is closed with a plastic plug. In this case, there will be a small gap on it, which can be easily picked up with a fingernail. In this case, the installation side of the SIM card will again be indicated on the case. This type of slot is found on Samsung tablets.
The last option is a removable cover. Often the owners of Prestigio and Digma are interested in where the SIM card is inserted into the tablet. These brands are one of the few that allow the use of two cards at the same time. To install the device, you must turn it over.
At the top of the device there is a removable panel of small width. In the central part above the camera there is a gap that should be picked up with a fingernail. After removing the cover, the user will see space for SIM and microSD. In this case, the card is placed with the chip inside, the cut corner should be at the top.
There are no other places for placing the SIM card in tablet computers. If the question of where the SIM card is inserted in the tablet remains unresolved, then you need to refer to the equipment documentation. There are instructions on where and how to install.
Most often, after installing the card and rebooting the device, it will automatically detect the SIM and start working. When you install it for the first time, you receive an SMS with the settings on your tablet; you need to open and save them. If you haven’t received the SMS, calling the hotline will help.
An important point when creating a point is to correctly register the address at which the device will connect to the network. This item is called APN. Different operators have different addresses, so the correct option for setting up can be found on the operator’s website.

Currently, equipment manufacturers equip devices with slots for different SIM formats. There are three types in total.
- Mini Sim
usually used in old devices or in inexpensive equipment from brands Oysters, Irbis, Digma and the like. This is a standard size of 25*11 mm. - Micro Sim
— more modern look. Initially used in Apple technology, in particular, iPhone 4. Later, other manufacturers switched to this format. Size – 15*12 mm. - Nano Sim
— the newest format. Size – 12*5 mm. Here the entire card is a chip with minimal plastic frames. The first company to use this format was Apple in the iPhone. Today, the vast majority of modern models work with this type.
Before inserting a SIM card into the tablet, you need to make sure that its size matches the supported format. You can find it out from the documentation for the device. If the card is old, then it can be cut using a special device. You should not do this with ordinary scissors, as there is a possibility of damaging the chip.
Advice! If there is a cell phone store of the required operator nearby, they will issue you a SIM card with a suitable standard for free.
If the card is purchased for the first time, it is universal — you just need to squeeze your format out of the plastic shell. When you have a small card and the connector is designed for a large one, it is best to buy an adapter for all options.
