Android 10 official and custom firmware for phones and tablets.

One can argue how effective this decision is, but nevertheless, everything has already happened. Below is a list of new operations already built into the operating system, for the implementation of which previously third-party applications were needed.

File info
File Info is a useful program that will tell the user which application to open a file with an unknown extension and help download the desired program from the Internet.
If you downloaded a file from the network or found a file with an unknown extension on your computer and cannot open it using applications installed on the operating system, then use this convenient and free program. She will definitely help!
After installing File Info on your computer, simply right-click on the desired file and select the «Open with FileInfo» option. In the program window that opens, you can see detailed information about this file: location on disk, size, creation date, modified date, last opened date. Full information about the file type itself will also be provided: what format it is, where and how it is used. After this, the user will only have to select from the list that will offer File Info any program he likes that works with similar files. When the user decides on a suitable application and clicks on the “Download” button, the program will redirect him to the download page on the developer’s official website.
FileInfo recognizes the vast majority of file formats used in the modern computing world and only works with official software developer sites.

In this case we are talking about the Android Debug Bridge function, which is better known by the abbreviation ADB. It is used by those who reflash a smartphone via a computer. In Android 11, it became possible to perform operations without using a wire using Wi-Fi.

1. Boot into recovery again by pressing the Volume power button at the same time and release after you see the Android logo. You will boot straight into recovery mode.

Do you have problems with encryption after installing android 11 gsi?
1. In recovery, go to Wipe -> Format data and enter “yes” to completely erase the internal memory. It will decrypt your device and you can boot easily.
2. In case the above method did not work, you need to change the data partition from f2fs to ext4. To do this, open Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Partition Options -> Select Data -> Partition Options again -> Change FS (file system)
Downloads
1. I am using Poco F1 to install Android 11 GSI, so I will need recovery like TWRP or OrangeFox for Poco F1 specifically. In this case I use OrangeFox recovery since it is updated and supports decryption. Download OrangeFox recovery for Poco F1 from here. As for your Android device, you can also use TWRP, but make sure that the recovery has been updated recently.
2. Then download the GSI system image from here. It is a port of GSI from Pixel by Erfan and it works on various Android devices. Yes, it is a GSI with an AB split, but it will only work on A (eg Poco F1) and AB (eg Mi A3) devices. Also, we tried the official GSI released by Google, but it didn’t load.
3. Download the Force Encryption Disabler (FED) file from here. This will help you save your internal storage when switching between ROM and GSI. Tip: Whenever you flash images for testing purposes, make sure you set FED to avoid encryption mess.
4. Now we come to the Seller. While Google insists that GSI images will work with the stock provider, the reality is completely different. We tried installing the official GSI over the default provider on the Mi A3, but it didn’t work.
So you will have to Download a ROM with the corresponding vendor implementation or a separate vendor image created specifically for your device. Only then can we successfully download the GSI image. For Poco F1, I used Pixel 4 ROM from argraur. Simply put, find a vendor image or full ROM for your specific device that comes with a proper vendor implementation. You can also comment below if you are unable to find the correct seller image.
Screen recording with sound
Another feature that was clearly underdeveloped in Android 10 has undergone major changes in the eleventh generation of the operating system. The next smartphone update will add a screen recording feature with audio. In addition, in Android 11 the ability to select the audio source will become available. This capacity can be either an application or a microphone.

Years have passed, I already know Pascal well, I switch to Delphi, after my 2nd year of college I get a summer job at a construction site, I live in trailers. Summer, heat, hot trailers, until one in the morning you sleep under them, because… inside the car without air conditioners, everything leaks from you. After a summer part-time job and the start of a new school year, I couldn’t imagine what would force a person to work there for a long time, because it was just hell.
I close my eyes. I open it — I’m 31, I have a family, a child, and I work at a construction site, living in trailers. I wander throughout the vastness, already in the role of deputy director, but this is all far from my dreams.
A year ago I started learning C#. I wrote a design document for my game, of course it’s an MMO with a bunch of features, caravans, blackjack. -Who are you in this vast multiverse, Doctor Strange? You can become a warrior protecting the secret artifacts of your clan, or own an inn somewhere on the outskirts of the galaxy.
Expectation and reality — half a year and I wrote a game 4 pictures — 1 word. In my defense, I want to say — I studied all my competitors — as a rule, they don’t sit on such games for a long time, because of this they look disgusting, but I approached the process with soul and made the most pleasant interface (as far as my gimp skills allowed).

In general, I registered a Google developer account, put the game in an alpha test to get experience of how everything works there, and added a privacy policy. After 2 days, the game appeared in alpha, I added 2 of my friends to the testers, everything worked well, analytics were displayed, push notifications arrived, content was updated from my host, and the next day after the alpha came out, a letter came from Google that my developer account had been deleted .
Just like that, simply, without declaring war. Without any warning. Reason — you or your linked account has been banned after repeated violations of the rules. Don’t try to register a new one. I wrote to all possible addresses of technical support, 2 weeks of silence. I looked for contacts of Google representatives in Russia, wrote to them asking for help in understanding the situation — silence. I wrote on reddit based on people’s advice, because… They say that Google representatives are sitting there and can respond — silence. I can’t imagine what I could have done wrong during the alpha test.
To create something: a sculpture, write a book, a game, etc. and not be accepted by people is not as sad as not even getting the opportunity to show it.
In general, this is what my path from construction to game development looks like.
Requirements
1. To run Generic System Image (GSI), your Android smartphone must have Treble support. The easiest way to find out is to check if your Android device was running Android 8, 9, or 10. If so, then your device supports Project Treble and you can proceed with the installation.
2. Secondly, you must have an unlocked bootloader on your smartphone to install the Android 11 GSI image.
Install adb and fastboot
First of all, we must enable ADB and Fastboot so that we can install the recovery of our choice and install GSI on any Project Treble device. We’ve written a detailed guide on how to set up ADB on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS, so check out our guide and get familiar with the basics.
Install android 11 gsi on any project treble device
Before moving forward, I assume that you have installed ADB, unlocked the bootloader and checked the Treble compatibility of your smartphone. Now that we have gone through the basic steps and downloaded the required files, let’s go ahead and install Android 11 GSI on any Project Treble device.
1. Connect your Android device to your computer and copy all four files you downloaded — Recover ZIP File, GSI Image, FED, Full ROM or Seller Image — to your smartphone. After that, run the below command to enter fastboot/bootloader mode.

2. Then extract the OrangeFox zip file to your computer and save the recovery.img file in the same ADB folder.
3. Once in Fastboot mode, enter the command below to boot the recovery image. Make sure the recovery image is in the same ADB folder. Once downloaded into OrangeFox recovery, click Install and swipe right to update the OrangeFox recovery ZIP file. It will install and reboot into recovery automatically.
Note: This step is specific to installing OrangeFox recovery. If you are using TWRP, you will need to follow the instructions to install TWRP.
4. Now go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe. Here, select Dalvik, Cache, System, Vendor and Data and make a clean wipe. Be sure to check the «Supplier» checkbox as we need to replace the supplier first. Also, DO NOT touch the «internal storage» as all our files are saved here.
5. Next, go to “Install” and flash the Pixel 4 ROM file which has the proper vendor implementation or vendor image.
Note: If you have a custom vendor image, you can go directly to step #9.
6. After that, set Force Encryption Disabler to prevent hardware encryption on the first boot.
7. After that, wipe the cache once and click “Reboot system”. It will boot into the new Pixel 4 ROM. If you are facing encryption issue then proceed to the next section for solution.
8. Now that you have successfully booted into your Pixel 4, enable ADB again from the developer options and reboot until OrangeFox is restored. You can boot before restoring OrangeFox by running the below ADB command. To clear things up, we installed the Pixel 4 ROM to get the correct vendor implementation, and we will now install Android 11 GSI on top of it.
Note: In case you had to wipe internal storage due to encryption issues, be sure to copy the GSI image again to your smartphone before rebooting for recovery.

9. Now that we are back in recovery, click “Install -> Install Image”. Here, select the GSI image and then select System Image. After that, swipe to flash the GSI and after that click on Reboot System. There is no need to wipe anything down before or after installation.

So, right now, you can install Android 11 GSI on your smartphone, be it Redmi, Realme, Poco or Nokia devices. Of course, the process is quite complex and you need to have an understanding of Android modding and flashing. However, if you are an enthusiast and want to test the latest Android 11, you can do so by following the instructions step by step.
Having said that, I would recommend users not to install Android 11 GSI at the moment and wait for at least the first beta which will be released in May. Anyway, that’s all from us.
