Huawei HiSuite is a program responsible for the ability to synchronize Huawei mobile devices with the Google Android operating system with a computer. It is needed to back up files and data, to export and import information, and to manage information and files stored in the phone’s memory.
The program package includes a driver, without which it will be impossible to connect Huawei devices to a PC – adb.
In this manual, we will briefly tell you about the possibilities of connecting a Huawei mobile device to a PC.
First, connect your Huawei device to usb connector, an icon will appear on the notification panel indicating the connection. Next, on the phone, lower the notification panel and click on the current connection.
In the list that appears, select the type – HiSuite and wait until Windows installs the drivers for the new device.
After that, go to “Computer” and run the installation file in the new virtual drive that appears (you can simply click on this icon once).
The HiSuite installer will automatically download and install the required synchronization components and driver. This action requires an active internet connection.
Then you can synchronize with PC through the HiSuite utility in the windows menu or copy files through Explorer, depending on the connection type selected through the notification panel (HiSuite or MTP).
HiSuite is a Huawei proprietary utility that has a wide range of functionality that allows you to easily synchronize mobile devices running the Google Android operating system with personal computers running Windows OS.
The utility kit includes an adb driver that allows you to connect smartphones and tablets to a PC and select the connection mode (Media device (MTP), HiSuite mode, Removable media, Camera (PTP)). It is worth noting the fact that with the help of HS you can connect not only Huawei devices, but also smartphones from other manufacturers (for example, HTC).
With HiSuite, you can easily manage any user data on your device, be it photos, music or videos, synchronize and edit your contact list and calendar, send and read SMS and MMS messages directly from your PC, and take screenshots smartphone and tablet screen, regardless of the version of Android and the presence of root rights on the device.
However, in addition to synchronization, the utility solves another important problem that most owners of mobile gadgets face, namely the problem of data backup. With Huawei HiSuite, you can backup all your important data, including the application, in just one click.
And for executing scheduled tasks, the utility has a convenient task scheduler built into it.

P. S. The program supports the Russian language, which can be selected during / after the installation is completed.
Opportunities
Huawei novelties on the official website of the company
The main features of the HiSuite program in Russian are:
Process in order
The first thing we need is a special. an ISO image file with the desired version of Windows: with its help, a bootable USB flash drive will be written, and later the OS will be installed (standard information for beginners).
It’s better to download it from the official Microsoft website (fortunately, they are now available in the public domain). Link below to the note, where all the necessary links are collected (including the light LTSC versions).
Windows 10 and 11 are usually installed on a modern laptop.
STEP 2 (Burning flash drive)
The downloaded ISO image with Windows must be correctly written to a USB flash drive (so that it “becomes” an installation/boot).
To do this, you need special. utility – Rufus (for modern laptops, specify UEFI GPT when recording – it will set the rest of the settings automatically, see my screen below + links to help 👇).

Rufus – burn ISO to a flash drive with Windows 11
STEP 3 (Setup start)
First, turn off the laptop and connect the flash drive prepared in STEP 2 to the USB port. Next, you will need to open the system boot menu Boot Menu (or BIOS settings) and select “our” USB flash drive so that Windows installation starts from it. How to do it? 👇
To do this (after connecting the U SB drive), turn on the laptop. Then immediately you need to press several. times by combination (F12) when loading and appeared. Huawei logo (it is better to press in advance, even before the logo appears).
An example of entering the BIOS on Huawei laptops: https://ocomp.info/kak-voyti-v-bios-uefi-na-noutbukah-honor-huawei.html
Boot Menu – Huawei MateBook
In the BIOS, you need to look at the boot queue ( subsection ): use the F6 key to put the USB flash drive in first place (and then save the settings using F10 and restart the laptop).
📌 If the flash drive is not displayed in the BIOS, try turning it off. Secure Boot (i.e. put in Disabled mode), save the BIOS settings by pressing F10, restart the laptop and check again if the flash drive has appeared in the subsection. 👇
In the first place is a flash drive! With the f6 key, you can swap the flash drive with the disk (BIOS of the Huawei MateBook laptop)
Selecting the language and partition under the OS (activation)
Language Selection – Next (Windows 11)
Next, press the button.
Click the “Install” button (Windows 11)
Entering the key can be skipped for now by clicking on the link “I don’t have a product key”.
Press the “I don’t have a product key” button
I recommend that in the installation type selection window – specify the option for advanced users (this way you can select a partition on the disk under Windows yourself). 👇
We need to specify the disk partition on which Windows will be installed: as a rule, it should be at least 40-50 GB. If you do not need any data on the disk, you can delete all partitions (see the “Delete” button), and then select and click – the installer will partition and prepare the disk for the system. 👇
Where do you want to install Windows
After all the installation files are copied and the laptop goes to reboot, it is better to disconnect the USB flash drive from the USB port (you won’t need it anymore. But I recommend saving it for the future – in case of problems with the system, it will be able to help out) .
Country and region
Windows 11 cannot be installed: the system asks for a Microsoft account, connected. to the Internet, TPM, etc.
STEP 4 (installing drivers)
The system is installed, the desktop is visible. Now you need to pre-install the driver! If this is not done, you may encounter the fact that not all functions of the laptop will be available (plus, some of the software will not be able to run).

To install drivers on Huawei (Honor) devices, you can resort to 2 methods:

Huawei – driver download

To install Hisuite, you need:
System requirements for installing the program on a PC:
The HiSuite Daemon app will be automatically installed on your smartphone to synchronize the device.
Direct connection
The most obvious and logical option is to connect your smartphone to your computer like an external device. In this case, it can be recognized both as internal memory and simply as a USB device.
Signature App
The second option for owners of Huawei and Honor smartphones is to use the HiSuite proprietary program. With its help, you can conveniently manage all the multimedia files and phone contacts available on the device, create backup copies, update and restore Android. Let’s figure out how to organize such a connection.
In the future, this connection procedure will be much faster, since you will not need to re-grant any rights (provided that you checked the box to allow auto-connection at the stage of enabling HDB permission). It will be enough to launch the program, connect the smartphone to the computer and start working.
Solving possible problems
Despite the fact that in general the procedure for connecting a smartphone to a computer is extremely simple, some users may find that nothing happens after the physical connection. Let’s see how we can fix this.
Enable debug mode
First of all, try enabling debug mode on your Android device. Sometimes it is he who allows the smartphone to become visible to the computer. We talked about how to do this in another instruction at the link below. It is fully compatible with Huawei devices.
Read More: How to Enable USB Debugging Mode in Android
Often a failed connection indicates a problem with the driver. Usually it is always installed automatically when you connect your smartphone, but if this action fails, the device will not be detected.
Disconnect and reconnect your smartphone, and it is advisable to disconnect the USB cable itself from the computer too. You can also use another USB port.
If this does not help, check if the smartphone is visible as connected in the “Device Manager”.
If there is no device or the section itself in “Portable devices”, look for the “Other devices” section – it may appear there as “Unidentified MTP device”. In this case, try “Update Driver” for it in the same way as shown above.
Hardware Troubleshooting
Often the problem lies in the problematic USB cable that you use to connect. Check it for physical damage, try connecting any other smartphone or device through it.
Also check the USB port on the computer. Use it for other purposes, such as connecting a mouse or other USB device, to see if they work through this connector.
Note: non-original USB cables are usually the cheapest, sometimes they can only be used to charge the smartphone, so you cannot put the smartphone into file transfer mode with them. Replace it with an original accessory from Huawei or at least a high-quality universal cable.
Correction of the missing connection type selection window
Sometimes the connection is formally made and the user sees that the smartphone is charging from the PC. However, it fails to change the connection type, for example to “File Transfer”, in order to exchange data. You can try to fix this in different ways.
Check notification settings
Disconnect and reconnect Huawei, thereby checking again if the connection type selection window appears.
Reset Settings app
Alternative switching method
As a replacement (this is not a direct solution to the problem), you can go to the “For Developers” mode, find the “Select USB settings” option there, click on it and select the “Media Transfer Protocol (MTP)” option, or another mode you want. And although the mode selection window will not return this, you can access this submenu to switch between connection types.
How to find “For Developers” is detailed in the article, the link to which is above, in the heading “Enabling debugging mode”.
Using a special application
Certain users are assisted by a special application that provides a generic Android USB driver. Most of all, it is relevant for owners of an old operating system such as Windows XP or 7, with which modern smartphones or tablets may not be compatible. But they are also suitable for new Windows operating systems, if there are any difficulties during the automatic installation of the driver.
If none of the suggestions helped, try connecting your smartphone to another computer and with a different cable if possible. Based on this, it will be possible to at least understand with which device the problem is. Next, you should try to solve the problem by common means (if the PC is to blame, check why it does not see the connected USB devices / MTP devices, and if the smartphone is to blame, reset the settings, contact a service center or a forum like w3bsit3-dns.com for help).
Problem solving
The program does not start? To solve this problem, you just need to install the HiSuite Daemon.apk file.
Device not syncing? Check if USB debugging is enabled. If it is enabled and the problem persists, remove all unknown devices from the manager, and then (after they reappear) install the adb drivers manually, specifying the path to them.
The PC does not see the phone or the device does not connect at all? Try syncing it over Wi-Fi. Some phones accept only such synchronization.
